Bunting Island - Batu Hampar Waterfall - Jerai Hill Resort

This post is just as a sweet memory to my best friends and I. In May 2010, we had a trip to Bunting Island, Batu Hampar Waterfall and Jerai Hill at Kedah State.
Bunting Island is a small island located near the Sungai Limau, Sungai Limau is a small town near Yan, Kedah. This Island is about 45 minutes from Alor Setar. It is a beautiful island and there is no one live there, but in night and evening there is a lot of people fishing at there. To get to the island we have to through the bridge that connect to the island. The length of the bridge is about 2 km.

When arrived there we waiting for my friend that live near the Guar Cempedak (not far from here). His name is Remy, we studied in same university in Sarawak. When he arrive we walking to the other side of  the island to go to the beach.

After we feel tired swimming, all of us going to Batu Hampar Waterfall to clean ourself. This waterfall is about 30 minutes from Bunting Island, it is located near Yan. The water is very cool and made me feel fresh.

The last place we went was the Jerai Hill, at there we going to Jerai Hill Resort at the top of the hill. It is about 45 minutes to reach the top, the road is very challenging, with the monkeys along the road, we went there by using motorcycle, so it is a bit difficult to reach there. But it worth when we reach up there, the scenery is very beautiful and the air is so cool. There is a lot of thick fog, I love it. We can see the ground area from the, the house look so small from up there, a lot of paddy fields and also sea with sunset on it.

This resort is suitable if we want to searching for peace environment, and no pollution. This resort is features with wifi zone, mosque, pool, restaurant, library, computer, snooker , and beautiful garden that have a lot of plants and flowers.
